Here at East Park Vets, we cannot stress how important vaccinations are. So many pets fall ill and in worst cases, pass away each year because their protection against infections and diseases are not up to date.
A vaccination is an injection that is given to kittens, puppies and baby rabbits to prevent them from catching infections and diseases. The process is relatively pain free and generally consists of 2 injections administered a few weeks apart. This is to ensure that their bodies build up immunity to certain strains of infection and disease.
After 12 months immunity starts to wear off, so your pet will require a booster vaccination each year to help keep their immunity levels as high as possible.
